A Grand Opening with Spiritual Blessings
The opening night of Alanya’s Ramadan Nights was filled with spiritual ambiance, starting with a Qur’an recitation by Kuyularönü Mosque Imam Adem Yağcı, followed by a heartfelt prayer by Alanya District Mufti Dr. İhsan İlhan. This marked the beginning of a month-long celebration that will last from March 1 to March 28, bringing the community together in an atmosphere of faith and joy.
Mayor Özçelik’s Message on Unity and Solidarity
Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik, accompanied by deputy mayors, advisors, and council members, attended the opening ceremony and delivered an inspiring speech:

- 1,000-person iftar dinners have been set up at three different locations in Alanya.
- The municipality has introduced Ramadan Support Cards for underprivileged families for the first time.
- Food packages have been distributed to the community, ensuring that no one is left behind during this blessed month.
- A special thanks was extended to the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality’s Alanya Soup Kitchen for their invaluable contributions.
A Night to Remember with Zeyd Şoto
The opening night concluded with an unforgettable performance by Zeyd Şoto, renowned for his ‘Hymns in Different Languages’ concept. His mesmerizing recital captivated the audience, receiving standing ovations from attendees of all ages. In recognition of his outstanding performance, Mayor Özçelik presented a special gift to Zeyd Şoto and his team, expressing his gratitude for their contribution to the event.
