Dual or dual citizenship in Turkey
The good news is that Turkey accepts the concept of dual citizenship, that is, a citizen of more than one country at a time. Dual citizenship is possible in Turkey, because there is no international law. Each country has its own citizenship laws, and citizenship is granted to individuals based on domestic policy. Individuals can choose dual citizenship in accordance with various laws.
The automatic acquisition or retention of foreign citizenship does not affect Turkish citizenship. According to Turkish law, citizens were born in two nationalities. The Turkish government recognized the two citizenships, which allows the Turkish citizens to acquire another citizenship.
